To render the\nstudy program more attractive and to boost the telecom engineer profile, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/\">project <strong>BENEFIT<\/strong><\/a>\nis working on three main pillars: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A) the cooperation between <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/?page_id=76\">Western\nBalkan universities and industry<\/a><\/strong> to modernize the study program in\ntelecommunication engineering; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B) the adoption of <strong>modern teaching\nmethodologies<\/strong> and tools, the upgrade of the infrastructure, and the\ncreation of joint <strong>university-industry labs<\/strong>; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C) the implementation of <strong>training<\/strong>\nof both teachers and students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, to increase the level of\ncooperation, visibility and sustained opportunities the project has developed\nan integrated <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/eplatform\/\">e-platform<\/a><\/strong> giving access to class material\nfor e-learning, training\/internships in the region, listing of universities and\ncompanies, employment opportunities, and events of both technical nature and\naccessible to the general public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/?page_id=15\">CLICK here to access the deliverables and reports<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCY1zj5NhaUQbuFeMP3IRKyA\">YouTube Channel<\/a> <\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/eplatform\/\">E- platform for training, internships and e-learning<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/\">Main Benefit project website<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/erasmus-plus\/node_en\">Erasmus+<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Training &amp; Mobility Opportunities <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Students from the University of\nTuzla had the possibility to visit BENEFIT Partners in Zagreb, Ljubljana and\nKlagenfurt<\/li><li>Memorandum of Understanding with partner\ncompanies was signed in order to facilitate students internships <\/li><li>Creation of a central web platform\nlinked to the project web site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/eplatform\/\">https:\/\/www.project-benefit.eu\/eplatform\/<\/a> with the\naim to promote achieved project results and to provide all relevant information\nrelated to available modernized ICT study programmes, as well as existing\ninternship, training and job opportunities to a wider community&nbsp; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In the next project semester will take place:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Professional training courses for\nteaching staff members in Klagenfurt (10-11 July 2019)<\/li><li>Students internships to Ericsson\nNikola Tesla d.d.<\/li><li>Webinar hosted by the University of\nNis<\/li><li>Professional training courses for\nteaching staff members in Osijek<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next\nevents:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Seminar for students organized during ZINC 2019 organised by RT-RK in Novi Sad (29-30 May 2019)<\/li><li>Special session organization during IntSikt 2019 (10-11 June 2019)<\/li><li>Open Event in Sarajevo   <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mce_0\">Information:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For further information please contact us by sending an e-mail to: <a href=\"mailto:project-benefit@aau.at\">project-benefit@aau.at<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The labour market requires a new profile for the telecom engineer: a professional that is trained in the broad ICT domain, that owns both technical and market-oriented skills and, therefore, that can contribute to the techno-economic society challenges.
