Online Open Event hosted by the University of Novi Sad

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA2 Project BENEFIT, an online open event will be organized at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences on 29.1.2021.
The program will consist of short presentations of the project main results, discussions and trainings on Entrepreneurship in ICT and on IEEE student competitions. The incoming hackathon will also be introduced.

The event will also include the intervention and training provided by the keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Ivan Šeškar, who has more than 30 years of experience in installing, operating, and adapting wireless testbeds with state of the art equipment containing hundreds of wireless nodes with remote and on-site access. He is in charge of the largest indoor remotely accessible wireless testbed in the world (ORBIT platform) and of the most recent outdoor 5G testbed deployed as part of NSF COSMOS project in the Harlem area of Manhattan, NYC, US. As part of COSMOS, he coordinates outreach activities for high-school students promoting STEM education and usage of low-cost wireless devices in high-school curricula.
